    There are no longer tests in Grade 9 for any alternate assessment students. Please see the Age and Grade Reference Sheet for the delivered tests, or see the TAM additional details about the make up of the individual tests.

  • Process Document for Students Without a Mode of Communication Now Available

  • Practice Test Now Available

    The SC-Alt Online Assessment Practice Test is available on the Portal. Please use the practice test to familiarize yourself with the online testing environment. From the Portal homepage, click on the “Practice Tests” link on the right. A Practice Test Guidance Document is available to walk you through the function, systems, and features.

  • TIDE is Live

    TIDE for the 2018 administration is now available. All 2017 users should have received an email with instructions and a link to reset their TIDE passwords. If you had a TIDE account in 2017 and did not receive your log-in information, please contact the Help Desk. To access TIDE, select the “TIDE” card on the Portal homepage. The TIDE User Guide is also available on the Portal.

  • New Test Administrator Training

    All test administrators that did not attend a training in 2017 are required to attend a one day, in-person training at one of these locations:

    February 12, 2018: Greenville

    February 13, 2018: Columbia

    February 14, 2018: Columbia

    February 15, 2018: Florence

    February 16, 2018: Charleston

  • Revised Important Dates

    AIR and the SCDE have decided on a few enhancements to the online testing interface in order to make the online tests more user friendly for students with significant cognitive disabilities for the spring 2018 administration. As a result, we are revising several important dates leading up to the test window, which opens on February 26, 2018. You may access all the important dates and events by clicking on Important Dates on the Portal homepage. A PDF version is also available.

  • PLD Survey

    AIR and the SCDE are interested in feedback on the Performance Level Descriptors (PLDs). For the support guides, we would like input on how to tie them to functional academic instruction. To provide feedback, please take the PLD Survey, accessible from the Portal’s homepage. The PLDs are available in the Resources section.

  • DTC-Alt Webinar Date Change

    AIR and the SCDE have decided to move the date of the DTC-Alt Training Webinar from Thursday, October 19 to Thursday, November 9, 2017, due to a scheduling conflict with the State Testing and Accountability Directors Meeting. Please use the DTC-Alt Webinar Registration link to register for the new date. All registrations for October 19 have been reset.
